Why I joined: This is a very beautiful act. Being Mexican, I see the lack of family values in the States and am taken aback by the separation of generations. As I age, I realize that our elders are the key to staying grounded and their experiences are worth knowing.

Why I joined: I love the idea of visiting the elderly with my teenage daughter. She has already done some community service project for a local senior center but now, I would like to do it together!

Why I joined: The elderly are definately a 'forgotten' group of people, but they have so much to contribute to our lives and have wonderful stories to tell, if one takes the time to listen.

Why I joined: I want to be a part of this, cause i cant imagine dying alone, or being with no one for my last days or years. I watched a 47 year old suffer through a illness and pass, i wouldn't leave him alone... Why would i leave another
