In Nogales, Arizona, over 750 semi-truck loads of fresh fruits and vegetables are wastefully discarded every year.  That is two semi-truck loads of food thrown away every day that could be given to hungry children and their families throughout America.  The 3000 Club has been created to respond to this need.

We need 3,000 businesses/individuals to rescue 30 million pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables from being thrown away every year, making available over 23 million meals for 50,000 impoverished families and 150,000 hungry children! The produce will be rescued, transported and distributed for all the charities and food pantries in Arizona and throughout America who are feeding the hungry.
