Wal-Mart spends millions of dollars to clean up their reputation and cover up the facts about their assault on American towns, workers rights and more. But again and again, they fail to address the real issues. Check out the guide to Wal-Mart's spin at:

* Over 600,000 Wal-Mart employees lack healthcare. An estimated 46% of the children of Wal-Mart employees is on federal or state healthcare plans.
* The State of California already spends over $89 million dollars subsidizing Wal-Mart's underpaid employees in the state. Wal-Mart plans to add dozens of new stores throughout California in 2005 and 2006.
* Wal-Mart currently represents 8% of total retail sales in the US (non-auto). Lee Scott has been quoted as saying "I can't see why we can't be at least 20%". This is terrifying.
