09/19/07 Why I did it: In Nov., 2006, 200 educators heard Ariane Kirtley speak of the severe water scarcity affecting the Azawak. Teachers, deeply moved, wanted to help. I created a blog to keep schools and students connected as they got involved in the Amman Imman project.

09/19/07 Why I did it: Since I am working on the Amman Imman project whose goal is to provide access to safe water in the Azawak of Niger, I wanted to test my own knowledge.
