Wade McMullen currently lives in Bangalore, India where he works for an international human rights organization focused on freeing people from illegal forced labor and abolishing modern day slavery. Over the past three years, while living in Los Angeles, Washington DC and Nicaragua, he has co-founded a mentoring program for pregnant teenagers and ran a sponsorship program for children living in a trash dump. In fall 2008, Wade will begin his studies at NYU School of Law with plans to return to the developing world and help transform broken public justice systems to protect the poor. A native Texan, Wade is an amateur photojournalist and surfer, but more importantly he is an romantic abolitionist who wears a Mohawk on his heart for Jesus Christ.
