This is a video at the home of the family that first inspired me to start Nica HOPE. Israel (age 6) and Reynaldo (age 2) both appear in the video with me. Their home and play area is right alongside the main traffic of the trucks carrying the garbage past.. as they run barefoot through the filth, hardly seeming to be aware of the reality of the world around them.
